Chapter 4

1 The number of God is One; because He is the only true God, And the Father, is the Son, and the Holy Spirit; according as it hath been written by Isaiah,
2 'Ye [are] My witnesses, an affirmation of Jehovah, And My servant whom I have chosen, So that ye know and give credence to Me, and understand that I [am] He,
3 Before Me there was no God formed, And after Me there is none. I — I am Jehovah, And besides Me there is no saviour.'
4 The Holy Spirit came forth and was born from nought, and increased over the ages and ages; to create chaos out of nothing, and divine order out of chaos, And to reign almighty over all that was, is, and shall ever be,
5 By forming Himself into our Lord, as the Father, having a glorious heavenly body manifesting His wisdom and power as the Ancient of Days spoken of by Daniel,
6 and bearing forth a Son unto Himself; Who came in the flesh as the man Christ Jesus, and also appeared unto John — as written in the revelation — having a glorious heavenly body like that of his Father.
7 The Spirit is the fulness of God, having all power and all understanding of all things,
8 who is greater than the Father and the Son — whom He doth manifest as.
9 Thus, saith the Lord — 'Because of this I say to you, all sin and evil speaking shall be forgiven to men, but the evil speaking of the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.
10 And whoever may speak a word against the Son of Man it shall be forgiven to him, but whoever may speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is coming.'
11 The Spirit is never changing, But the Father doth repent from evil;
12 And the Son did not know the hour of his coming again, until it was given unto him by the Father, that the head may show his body by this second revelation.
13 Because the Father doth teach the Son though His Holy Spirit; who did come upon the Son of Man, as a dove descending from the heaven, to bless him with the gifts of the Spirit.
14 The heavens and the earth, having been created by the Son, were fashioned by a hand unknowing the fate of man and messengers, in order that they may be at liberty to choose the froward or straight path before them;
15 that all men and messengers may come under the same judgment, with none able to say that God did tempt him to sin and did foreordain him for destruction against his liberty.
16 But the Spirit did have foreknowledge to foreordain the chosen ones of God, whom the Spirit knew would choose the straight path, that they may glorify God to the fulness of His will.
17 And from the clay of wickedness, He doth build up vessels of dishonour fitted for destruction, because the Spirit did know the fate of all things and the desires of their heart to do evil.
